Do we need a BCM platform, or are documents sufficient?
Documents are workable for a small organisation with a handful of critical processes. Once you have multiple business units, regulatory reporting obligations and annual exercise requirements, plan maintenance alone justifies a platform. The tipping point is usually when plan upkeep starts consuming more effort than plan execution ever would.
How do you prove disaster recovery actually works?
By running real failover tests and capturing evidence — not by reviewing configuration. We design the test calendar, execute the drills, record timings against agreed RTO and RPO, document what failed, and track corrective actions to closure.
What makes backup ransomware-resilient?
Immutability so backups cannot be altered or deleted within the retention window, air-gapping or logical isolation from production credentials, separate authentication for the backup platform, and automated restore verification. Backup that shares the production identity domain is frequently encrypted alongside everything else.
