Cookie Policy
This policy explains how NAZZTEC uses cookies and similar technologies on our website, what each type does, how long it lasts and how you can control them.
Non-essential cookies are not set until you consent. When you first visit, our consent banner lets you accept all, reject all non-essential cookies, or choose by category. You can change your decision at any time using the Cookie Preferences link in our footer.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit a website. Cookies let a site remember your actions and preferences over time. We also use similar technologies — local storage, session storage and pixel tags — and we refer to all of them as "cookies" in this policy.
Cookies set by nazztec.com are first-party. Cookies set by another domain, such as an analytics or video provider, are third-party.
2. The cookies we use
The table below lists the categories of cookies we use, what each is for, whether your consent is required and how long it typically lasts.
| Category | Purpose | Consent required | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Security, load balancing, form submission integrity, remembering your cookie choices, preventing cross-site request forgery | No — the site cannot function without them | Session to 12 months |
| Preferences | Remembering your region selection, language and display choices | Yes | Up to 12 months |
| Analytics and performance | Understanding which pages are visited, how visitors navigate the site, where errors occur, and measuring the performance of our content | Yes | Up to 14 months |
| Marketing and attribution | Measuring the effectiveness of campaigns and understanding which sources introduce visitors to us | Yes | Up to 13 months |
| Embedded third-party content | Video players, maps and social embeds, which may set their own cookies when loaded | Yes — loaded only after consent, behind a click-to-load placeholder | Set by the provider |
We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles for sale, and we do not permit third parties to use cookies on our site for their own independent advertising purposes.
3. Third-party services that may set cookies
Subject to your consent, the following categories of provider may set cookies. Each is listed with the purpose it serves.
| Provider category | Purpose | Where to find their policy |
|---|---|---|
| Web analytics | Aggregated traffic and behaviour measurement | Published on the provider's website |
| Tag management | Controlled deployment of the tags above, in line with your consent choices | Published on the provider's website |
| Consent management platform | Recording and enforcing your cookie preferences | Published on the provider's website |
| Maps | Displaying our office locations on the Contact page, loaded only on interaction | Published on the provider's website |
| Video hosting | Playing embedded video, loaded only when you choose to play | Published on the provider's website |
| Marketing automation / CRM | Attributing enquiries and managing subscription preferences | Published on the provider's website |
4. Managing your preferences
On our site. Use the Cookie Preferences link in the footer to review or change your choices at any time. Withdrawing consent is as straightforward as giving it.
In your browser. All major browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the site from working — for example, submitting the contact form.
Do Not Track. There is no agreed industry standard for responding to Do Not Track browser signals. We honour the choices you make through our consent banner instead, which gives you more precise control.
Global Privacy Control. Where your browser transmits a recognised Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to reject non-essential cookies.
5. Consent records
We record the fact of your consent, the categories you accepted, the version of the banner shown and the date, so that we can evidence compliance. These records are kept for three years and are not used for any other purpose.
6. Changes to this policy
We review this policy whenever we add or remove a technology that sets cookies, and at least annually. The effective date at the top of this page tells you when it was last updated. Material changes will prompt the consent banner to reappear so you can review your choices.
